Welcome to The Iranian American Chamber of Commerce (IACC)!

During the past year, IACC has achieved great success reaching its goal of expanding membership, bringing members and the Iranian-American community together, and by far, our greatest accomplishment of positioning IACC as one of the leading Iranian-American community leaders in the Bay Area.

Our major achievements of the year includes:

• Successful monthly networking events
• Speakers such as the honorable Mayor Gavin Newsom, Angela Aliioto, Tom Ammiano, Badi Badiozamani, Ash Bhatt.
• Launched IACC's Website
• Holiday party in December
• Start of the IACC San Jose chapter
• First annual NoRooz Festival in San Jose

Although we had only a short time to organize the NoRooz festival in San Jose,nevertheless great sucess was achieved in this first-ever event. More than 3,000 people from around the Bay (and even out of town!) attended the two day festival and our community was recognized by local politicians and cities in the Bay Area.

All of this was possible through the dedication and commitment of IACC members who donated their time to help foster and promote the goals of the Chamber to our community at large.

With all the success and accomplishment of the past year, we also experienced some expected shortfalls. Our goal to grow our membership was not met. And the break even attendance for the NoRooz festival in san jose fell short by about 1,000 people resulting in a fairly substantial financial loss. We hope that you will partner with us to help cover this loss, and to help ease the pain, we will be announcing several fun and exciting fund raising events in the near future.

We look forward to another exciting year, one full of hope, success, and glory for everyone.
