Angela Alioto, A mayoral candidate and the daughter of 1968 San Francisco mayor, Joseph Alioto (please see brief biography below). For more information please visit: www.iranianamericanpac.org.Bios: ANGELA ALIOTO:The Alioto family arrived in the1800‚s working to establish the industry at Fisherman‚s Wharf. In 1968, her father became Mayor Joseph  Alioto. After her husband passed away, Angela enrolled in USF Law School while caring for four children. She received her law degree in 1983. Angela passed the strongest anti-smoking ordinance in the country, opposed cuts in health service, created the Mental Health Board and the Film Commission, which increased revenue to the City and brought world-wide visibility to San Francisco Even as private citizen Angela organized key reforms of the Sunshine laws and fought for cheaper, more reliable power. Since 1997, Angela has been a successful anti-discrimination attorney. She won landmark discrimination cases against corporations such as Mary Kay Cosmetics and Wonder Bread by standing up for minorities Angela champions working people, as a civil rights attorney Supervisor, taking on the tough issues , fighting the tough fights, and winning!FARAJ AALAEI:

Mr. Aalaei has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Prior to co-founding Centillium, he was the director of access product planning and management at Fujitsu‚s Network Communications in Richardson, Texas. Aalaei was the architect of Fujitsu‚s broadband access technologies, including DSL products. Before Fujitsu, he spent 10 years at Bell Labs designing advanced telecommunications products including SONET and ATM, and CATV transmission systems. Aalaei also spent 4 years as a microwave design engineer at M/A Comm in Burlington, Mass. Aalaei holds a MSEE from University of Massachusetts and an MBA from University of New Hampshire. Aalaei is a U.S. patent holder.
